Peter

Peter Bruce, though a very busy man has managed to find a little bit of time to build his own circle of support. Working closely with his sister Fiona and Laura, our Network Co-ordinator he identified who he wanted to become part of this circle. With Laura's support Peter has invited in a selection of friends, family, previous staff-turned mates, advocates and neighbours. The group are really good fun and anyone can see immediately that they all care and have a great deal of respect for Peter.

Peter's circle meetings are generally a relaxed affair, discussion about what has been working well for Peter, and what he could do with some support with... interspersed with anecdotes from Peter with his very dry and witty sense of humour.

Peter is an avid Hibs supporter. He holds a season ticket and never misses a game. He doesn't have many friends who share this passion and therefore finds himself heading up to Easter road most weekends alone. For such a social person the circle all felt they should be able to help Peter find some fellow Hibbies that he could spend time with. They are doing this by researching Hibs supporters clubs – official and local unofficial clubs as well as thinking about people that circle members know who may share Peters love of the game. Hopefully this will result in Peter making some new friends with a similar passion and also enable him to attend some of the away games as he only currently gets to see home matches. This is just one of the goals that Peter and his circle are working towards.
